ANSI/NSF61
Aerator.com faucet aerators have been tested and listed to ANSI/NSF61 with NSF International. The standard was developed to evaluate the potential adverse health effects from products in contact with drinking water. Aerator.com aerators are completely lead free (Annex G listed).
EPA - WaterSense
This US EPA program encourages the development of safe and water efficient plumbing products including lavatory (bathroom) faucets and faucet aerators. The new flow rate of 1.5 gpm max (0.8 gpm min) saves 30% water and energy.

- Toxicity (ANSI/NSF61)
- Plating adhesion and corrosion resistance (ASTM B456)
- Maximum temperature and pressure: (160°F/125 psi)
